Raw Power Absorption: Teddy is able to stockpile and release an enormous amount of raw power. Teddy can focus the stockpiled energy into a single body part, or spread it across his entire body evenly, though, focusing the power in a single part puts a greater strain on that part of his body. He is also able to control what percentage of his full power that he uses. He is currently able to handle 45% of his full power without suffering collateral damage, with 30% being his output.
- Unlimited Strength: One of Theodore's primary abilities is his tremendous superhuman strength. He is stated to be the strongest man in the world, according to his father. In Brand New Day, Theodore demonstrates his strength when he uses his strength impale his arm through Tyson's torso and instantly kill him within a second with a single punch. He can become powerful through sheer force and strength alone.
- Flight: Due to the energy, Theodore is capable of high speed flight. He could control his own motion-based force to move through the air at great speeds and instantly stop moving while in the air by completely freezing his motion. In addition to flight, Theodore is able to levitate off the ground without flying. As a result, Onyx can seamlessly float in the air and prevent his body from making contact with the ground below.
Bionic Enhancements: After being captured by U.L.T.R.A. Industries, Onyx was implanted with bionics granting him enhanced abilities. As a result, his true powers were awakened by the bionic enhancements, making him the only bionic-superhuman hybrid.
